This is a used Ipod 4th generation with the click wheel. This one powers up and comes with the box, protective case, charger, literature, cd and this plug in small speaker accessory. There are over 1300 songs on this Ipod. I don't know what kind of music other than I scrolled through about 150 songs and it seemed like easy listening style music that maybe your grandma would like. I will say that it seems to me like the battery runs down quicker than what I would expect, so I can guarantee this unit works and performs great when plugged into a charger as this is how I tested it, I cannot guarantee it's performance when unplugged though.
