This is a project unit. We tested this and it does power up but here is what we found:
- Pause button works but is broken off.
- Deck will play cassettes but after a few seconds the tape slows to a stop. Likely in need of a new belt.
- When the Chrome button is pushed the right VU meter peaks out. This is in any mode. If the Normal button is pushed the unit functions as it should.
