Description
Very rare Since 1978 Tournament Authorized Arctic Gear Engineered Quality Guaranteed heavy winter coat. This is a one of a kind jacket that you just can't find for sale anywhere anymore. This jacket is reversible. On the blue puffy side there are some spots where the color has started to fade. The jacket is not destroyed by any means, but it is noticeable upon close inspection (see photos). The blue side also features the extra large Since 1978 Pelle Pelle patch on the back and another smaller patch on the front. The blue side with the black stripe is reminiscent of the Shelby Cobra color scheme of the 60's. When reversing the jacket to the black side you have a more canvas jacket sporting a more classic streetwear look. The black side has the one Pelle Pelle Marc Buchanan patch on the front. Both blue and black sides sport the cool Pelle Pelle zipper pulls. Zippers are heavier duty plastic that all work great with no issues. There is some color fading on the blue area of the collar. This is a very nice 'daily driver' authentic heavy winter Pelle Pelle coat.
Marc Buchanan started designing urban fashion streetwear in 1978. The company was recently asked by some founders of hip-hop, Furious Five and Grandmaster Flash to create a leather jacket for them to wear that was studded when they were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame This brand is also seen in Notorious, a 2009 motion picture that chronicles the life of rap artist Biggie Smalls. Many celebrities have worn Pelle Pelle, such as 50 Cent, G Unit, Dr. Dre, Young Dre The Truth, Ludacris, NFL Player Marques Colston, Usher, Dru Hill, Bobby Brown, Fat Joe, [MacDre],and more recently Mario. How To Get Your Perfect Measurement
Here's the way to get your perfect measurement. Take a piece of YOUR OWN clothing to measure. Now get a cloth tape measure. If you don't have one, use a piece of string and a ruler/yard stick or carpenter's tape measure. For example if you're buying a t-shirt, get one from your closet that fits you the way you want it to. You want tight...get a tight shirt. You want loose...get a loose shirt...and so on. Measure this shirt and use the measurements as your template for the size you want. We use Flat Measurements. These are exactly that...measurements of the garment (zipped or buttoned up) laid flat on a table or hard surface.
