Vintage Akai M-8 Cross Field Reel Tape Recorder. Tube Preamps 1963

  • Product Description

      make / manufacturer: Akai

      model name / number: M8

This is a tested and working unit that was pulled out of an estate. Complete unit. These are popular because of their warm musical sound that is produced from their tube preamps. Some collectors buy them exclusively for the tube preamps to make guitar amps out of them. Others just use the tube section to warm up a signal recording into a computer. Either way this is a rare opportunity to purchase one locally.
